The HVAC meter has a measuring range of up to 0 ... 30 m/s. In addition to the velocity, the hot wire anemometer can precisely measure the volume flow and temperature. The compact design of the sensors, in combination with the extendable telescopic probe, enable measurements to be taken even in places that are particularly difficult to access. This means that the hot wire anemometer can be used to measure flow in cooling fins or in supply and exhaust air ducts.
With the memory of the HVAC meter, up to 10,000 measuring points can be recorded. The stored data can be viewed directly on the hot wire anemometer after a measurement. A transfer of the measurement data from the hot wire anemometer to a computer is made possible via the micro-USB interface. The saved data is displayed in CSV format and can therefore be analyzed and further processed as required.
The built-in 1000 mAh battery in the HVAC meter enables mobile use. The battery is charged by the hot wire anemometer via the micro-USB interface. This means that the flow meter can be charged at any 5 V USB interface. In combination with a tripod, the hot wire anemometer can be optimally positioned. There is a 3/8" tripod holder on the rear of the hot wire anemometer.
