The electrical tester is designed for insulation measurements with a test voltage of up to 15 kV. The measuring range from 0 ... 30 T? and other measuring functions make the tester versatile. With 4 quick selection buttons for common test voltages and the option of setting the voltage in 500 V steps. Pre-configured diagnostic tests, including (PI), dielectric absorption ratio (DAR) and a memory function for 200 measurements. These can be transferred to the software via the interface, which also enables the insulation measuring device to be operated. The electrical tester can also be used to measure AC and DC voltages up to 600 V. The electrical tester is supplied in a robust case that offers IP66 protection even when the lid is closed.

In the course of its normal service life, electrical insulation is exposed to various stresses that lead to its deterioration. This is caused by thermal, mechanical and chemical influences as well as moisture. Although the insulation is designed to withstand these stresses over many years, abnormal stresses can intensify the natural ageing process and drastically shorten the service life. It is therefore advisable to regularly check whether an accelerated ageing process is taking place and, if necessary, to determine whether the effects are reversible.
